MOST Lastek 43

Description

Description

An electrode developed to permit a repair of “non -weldable” cast iron in case if Ni base electrode does not give a solid bond. The special coating develops a powerful cleaning action. It enables obtaining smooth weld of a perfect fusion, even on oxidized cast iron. Electrode absorbs the carbon from cast iron and weld becomes hard and non-machinable. The electrode should be used alongside in the groove made with MOST Lastek 1900 as an buffer layer before welding with electrodes MOST Lastek 40E or 41E.

Applications: oxidized parts of furnaces, repairing foundry defects for colour match, first (buffer) layer on bad-quality cast. Iron before hardfacing, etc.
